The IMPRESS PODCAST | EPISODE #2. Privacy in the news: the case of Sir Cliff Richard vs. the BBC

Jonathan Heawood, CEO of IMPRESS, is joined by experts Paul Wragg (University of Leeds) and Thomas Bennet (City University) to discuss the case of Sir Cliff Richard against the BBC, and what this adds to the broader debate around media coverage of ongoing investigations and privacy.

Paul Wragg is an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Leeds. His research speciality is in press regulation and press freedom. And he is also one of the members of our own Code Committee here at IMPRESS.

Thomas Bennett is a Lecturer in Law at City University. His principal field of research concerns the manner in which judges elaborate the common law. His work in recent years has focused on the right to privacy. He is also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
